This intensive seven week course is designed to teach students of ALL levels the art of felting, including introductions to the latest techniques and newest materials. Classes are held every Monday from 11am - 3pm and will emphasize a new garment project each week --- everything from scarfs to pillow cases and anything in between. Each class will be unique, focusing on different kinds of materials, fibers and technology. During the last two classes, each student will have the opportunity to make a seamless vest of silk, Merino wool and other natural fibers. These classes not only teach proper techniques to applying the latest technologies; they bring out the hidden sources of innate creativity, inspiration and desire to express ourselves through our creations.
